TripAdvisor listing link: how to find and copy it in a minute

Updated 2 min readLutendo Editorial Team

The link to your TripAdvisor listing comes straight from the address bar: open your listing via search, copy the address up to and including .html, done.

tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g…-d…-Reviews-Name-City.html

Depending on your business it says Restaurant_Review, Hotel_Review or Attraction_Review. The g and d numbers are the unique identifiers of location and property. They make the link unmistakable.

Step by step

1. Open tripadvisor.com and search for your business.

2. Open your listing, the page with your reviews.

3. Copy the address from the address bar, up to and including .html. Anything after that (like #REVIEWS) can be left off; it does no harm if copied along.

On your phone: Identical in the mobile browser. In the TripAdvisor app: open the listing, tap the share icon, "Copy link". That link works too.

Language version does not matter

tripadvisor.com, .de or .es all lead to the same listing. The identifiers in the link stay the same. Just copy whichever version your browser shows.

No listing found?

Request a new listing free of charge through the TripAdvisor owner center. After confirmation your business appears in search. Why fresh reviews in particular decide the ranking there is explained on our TripAdvisor campaign page.

When you buy a TripAdvisor campaign, our form asks for exactly this link, so paying guests are guaranteed to visit and review your business. No link at hand? Enter your business name and city instead; we match your listing manually. The link is your public listing page. We never ask for login credentials, ever.

Frequently asked questions

My business has several listings (say restaurant and hotel)? Take the listing the reviews should be built for, or name both in the form and we sort out the match.

Is the short share link from the app enough? Yes. Any link that clearly leads to your listing works; we check every match before the campaign starts.

The listing shows outdated details? Request changes as the owner through the owner center. The link is already enough for the campaign either way.
