Google Review Link: How to Find Yours in 3 Easy Steps
If you ask customers for a Google review, you need a Google review link that lands straight in the review form, not the instruction to "look us up on Google". You can find that URL in three easy steps. (Google has renamed Google My Business: your listing is now managed as a Google Business Profile, but the link works the same way.)
Step 1: Open your Google Business Profile
Sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile and search for your company name on Google. As the owner, you will see the management bar directly above or next to the profile (with options such as "Edit profile" and "Reviews"). A separate dashboard is no longer needed; management now happens right inside Search and Maps.
Step 2: Get your review link
In the management bar, click "Ask for reviews" (depending on the interface, it may also sit under "Reviews"). Google shows you a short sharing link in the format g.page/r/…. Exactly this URL opens the review window with the star selector for your customers, with no searching and no scrolling.
Step 3: Test and share the link
Open the link once in a private browser window: it should go straight to your business's review form (a Google sign-in is required: reviewers always need one). Then place it where customers already look: email signature, invoice, appointment confirmation, WhatsApp, and as a QR code at the counter or on the receipt. Which moments and wordings work best is covered in the guide to actively generating Google reviews.
Common pitfalls
No management access: You don't see the bar? Then you are signed in with the wrong account, or the profile has not been verified. Sort out ownership first via "Claim this business".
Multiple locations: Every location has its own review URL: the link for your head office does not help the branch.
The link opens the profile instead of the form: Then the profile URL was copied instead of the g.page/r/… sharing link. Repeat step 2.
With the link in place, the channel is ready. What counts from there is a steady cadence of genuine reviews. Where that base is missing, a campaign with real guests and verified proof of visit can help build it.
Honest reviews. Testers decide content and stars. Nothing on this page promises a review or a ranking.
